What it is?
Sarracenia purpurea is a carnivorous plant native to the bogs of North America. Its extract has attracted attention in skincare research for its potential hydrating and skin-supporting properties.
Why we chose it?
We were looking for a botanical ingredient that could provide genuine hydration support — without the heaviness of oils, the irritation risk of actives, or the allergenic potential of common fragrance botanicals. Sarracenia extract offered a rare combination: botanical origin, a gentle skin profile, and meaningful functional properties.
What it does in Vora?
Supports skin hydration. Contributes to Vora’s lightweight, residue-free feel. Well-tolerated by sensitive and reactive skin types.

COMMON NAME: Saffron

What it is?
Saffron – derived from the Crocus sativus flower – is one of the most studied and celebrated botanicals in both traditional and modern wellness. Its extract is rich in carotenoids and other bioactive compounds.
Why we chose it?

Saffron extract is backed by a growing body of research supporting its antioxidant activity, potential brightening properties, and its ability to support an even, healthy-looking complexion over time.
It also carries a naturally warm, golden aroma – making Safra our first serum with a natural scent signature.

What it does in Safra (formulation in progress)?

Designed to deliver antioxidant support, a brightening feel, and soothing, nourishing qualities. Suitable for daily use.

What We Never Use

S3 Serums are always free from:

  • Synthetic fragrance — a leading cause of skin sensitivity reactions
  • Parabens — we use cleaner preservation alternatives
  • Heavy mineral oils or occlusive petrolatum
  • Artificial colourants
  • Unnecessary fillers or texture agents
  •  Ingredients we can’t explain or justify
